After her „shaky“ statement to the press and her apology for her mistakes, she apparently announced her resignation yesterday.
She thus wanted to keep „damage“ of the office of the Federal Ministry away and had decided to make her office as Federal Family Minister free. This she explained to the DPA (German Press Agency).
Anne Spiegel (mother of four) was active in the flood disaster 2019 in NRW Ahrl as environment minister. After the flood disaster, she went on vacation with her family for four weeks, as she herself admitted „to create time off for herself and her family.“ In the process, she reported on stressed children and a stroke suffered by her husband.
She stayed away from important appointments during this time, but, in her own words, was always available by phone.
The party „Bündis 90/Die Grünen“ are now looking for a successor for 42-year-old Anne Spiegel.
She was pretty, but probably a bit overwhelmed by the day-to-day business of politics.
